The funding criteria is based on three of the four Sussex Community Foundation funding priorities: Improving Health, Reaching Potential, and Acting on Climate.

Funding will be split between revenue and capital grants:

• Revenue Grants – up to £10,000 for core costs, staffing, equipment, and delivery (up to 12 months)
• Capital Grants – £10,000–£20,000 for building works, refurbishment, or major equipment (match funding and permissions required)

As part of the Year of the Normans 2027, which marks 1,000 years since the birth of William the Conqueror, we welcome applications that promote local heritage, culture, learning, community participation or tourism through a Norman-themed project.
