Since 2006, Sussex Community Foundation has been connecting people who want to make a difference with the local charities and community groups changing lives across Sussex. Over the past 20 years, we've awarded nearly £40 million in grants to more than 3,500 charities and community organisations, supporting projects that tackle poverty, improve health, help people reach their potential and act on climate. Whether you're a donor, professional advisor, charity or community organisation, we're here to help local giving create lasting impact.
We use national and local data to focus our impact on four funding priorities where we believe we can make the biggest difference. Through our philanthropy advice we help to match our supporters’ aims with the many small, effective local charities offering solutions to local issues.
Our four funding priorities help to bring clarity to the areas we support. Through them, we fund hundreds of charities and community groups across a range of causes, in communities all over Sussex. It’s all part of achieving our vision of a fairer, more equal Sussex.
