Funding advice in Horsham

Hannah Clay, Head of Grant Programmes, enjoyed attending the Voluntary Sector Funding Fair at Ashington Community Centre last week.

She was joined by organisers, Horsham District Council, and colleagues from the National Lottery and the Homity Trust who shared details of current funding opportunities and joined one-to-one support groups with a range of local organisations to hear about their funding needs and current priorities.

The ‘meet the funders’ event also gave groups working in Horsham District an opportunity to ask questions about their specific projects. As well as the funders, the Voluntary Sector Support team were there alongside the Community Development Team from Horsham District Council, to offer general advice and support.

Members of the team will also be out and about this autumn, attending Rother Voluntary Action’s AGM in October and Hastings Voluntary Action’s AGM and Conference in November.
