A Scot by birth, Jackie moved to London post university to start her career in HM Diplomatic Service. Having decided that diplomacy may not be for her, she then worked in the Lloyds insurance market specialising in Bloodstock and Fine Art. A move to Sussex saw Jackie start a 20 year association with Citizens Advice where she ran their Lewes District operation for 12 years before joining Sussex Community Foundation in June 2022. Jackie has an in-depth knowledge of the issues facing the small charities and community groups that the Foundation’s grants programme helps to support.
Fun fact: Jackie loves horse racing especially National Hunt.
