Our 2025 highlights in photos

2025 has been another busy year at the Foundation. As we look back at all we’ve achieved, we want to say a huge thank you to all our supporters, local charities and voluntary groups for the incredible difference you’ve made to Sussex communities this year.

It’s been a year of real impact, collaboration and learning. Here are some of our highlights from 2025:

We awarded over £2.8 million to 420 charities and voluntary groups – all made possible by our generous supporters and fundholders.

Visits to inspiring community groups across Sussex, from Think 18 in Chichester to Little Gate Farm in Rye, seeing first-hand the difference local action makes.

Bringing our community of donors and supporters together at events, including Afternoon tea at the House of Lords, our Summer Reception at Architectural Plants and more recently our sixth Sussex in the City.

We celebrated two years of the Chagossian Fund, which has now given out over £650,000.

Our Sussex Day photo competition showcased the power of community.

We focussed on sharing our Reaching Potential funding priority, highlighting the challenges young people in Sussex face and the brilliant groups supporting them.

The Southern Water Goodwill Fund committed over £400,000 for groups in Hastings and St Leonards.

Together, we supported over 400,000 local people across Sussex.
